Scenes To make the project dynamic and fresh, we decided to combine 3D with live frame-by-frame 2D animation.

Characters We designed characters to embody the essence of the mini apps — weather forecast, fitness/step tracker, dating app. Our favourite character is the unpredictable cloud that changes the weather along with its mood.

Backgrounds and effects We started the 3D scenes by drawing, searching for great combinations of shapes and patterns. It resulted in a cool curved space. For each scene we drew and animated 2D effects to add extra energy!

Animation Before moving to the final graphics, we made a frame-by-frame animatic to nail the rhythm and movements for the 3D animation. For the dance scenes we used video references — and of course our beloved video animatics with ourselves in the starring roles.

The result is a vivid, punchy spot we're genuinely proud of.
